Choosing the right mount

Do you make a mount for my LEGO set?

Probably. We make set-specific wall mounts for more than 90 LEGO Star Wars sets, plus Creator, Marvel, Fortnite and Bionicle sets. Search the store by set number (for example 75257) or browse Star Wars wall mounts. Each set-specific mount is designed for one set number only. If your set isn't listed, the Universal Wall Display fits most builds, or send us the set number and we'll add it to our list of sets to design mounts for.

What's the difference between a set-specific mount and the universal wall mount?

A set-specific mount is shaped to fit one LEGO set number; the universal wall mount clicks onto the studs on the underside of almost any build. Both adjust 360° and lock in place, and both come with screws and drywall anchors. Choose the set-specific mount when we make one for your set, and the universal mount for everything else, including your own creations.

Which Universal Wall Display size do I need?

For most LEGO ships, choose the Medium arm with the 6x6 plate. The arm sets how far the build sits from the wall: Micro is about 3.5 in (closest to the wall, good for small sets or a flatter look), Small is 15 studs (about 4¾ in), and Medium is 25 studs (about 7⅞ in). The plate is the part that clicks onto your build: 4x4, 4x6 or 6x6 studs, and a bigger plate grips more of the build. For long ships such as the Venator, use two Medium mounts with 6x6 plates. Not sure? Send us your set number and we'll tell you which size to order.

Will the universal mount work on a model with a smooth bottom, like a Technic car or F1 car?

Yes. Add a LEGO plate to the underside of the model and the universal mount clicks onto that. It takes about two minutes and uses bricks you already have. The universal mount connects to standard LEGO studs, so most other builds attach directly.

Can the universal mount hold UCS or very large, heavy sets?

We don't recommend the universal wall mount for UCS-size or very heavy sets. It hangs from a single screw and is designed for regular and large sets, not the biggest display models. If you have a big set in mind, tell us which one and we'll add it to our request list.

Which Millennium Falcon mount fits my Falcon?

The Millennium Falcon 75257 and The Dark Falcon 75389 share the same mount. The Millennium Falcon 75105 has its own dedicated mount, and so do the Falcon 75375 and the Kessel Run Millennium Falcon 75212. Check the set number on your box before you order.

Do the Ghost mounts work with the Phantom docked?

Yes. Both of our Ghost mounts hold the ship with the Phantom docked, but they are not interchangeable: the mount for The Ghost 75053 doesn't fit Ghost & Phantom II 75357, and the other way around. Order the mount that matches your set number.

Do Heel Savers fit minifigures with short or dual-molded legs?

Yes. Heel Savers fit minifigures with standard, short and dual-molded legs. They hold the figure without putting tension on the leg bricks, so the heels don't crack over time. Each pack has 25.

Installing your mount

How do I install my wall mount?

Screw the wall piece to the wall with the included screws and drywall anchors, attach the mount to the bottom of your set, then connect the set to the wall piece. Step-by-step guides are on our instructions page. If you ordered mounts for several sets, each set-specific piece has its set number printed on the underside, pointing toward the back of the ship.

What comes in the box?

Every wall and ceiling mount comes with the mount and the screws and drywall anchors to hang it. LEGO sets and minifigures are not included. The Floating Wood Shelf also includes a LEGO-compatible base plate to build on.

What kind of wall can I mount it on?

The kit includes screws and drywall anchors. Best mounted to a stud in the wall. Can be mounted to masonry with masonry anchors (not included). Ceiling mounts are best fixed to a ceiling joist.

Can the mount tilt or angle my set?

Yes. Our adjustable wall mounts rotate 360° and lock in place, so you can display a set level or tilted, including at 45°. They also work on sloped walls up to about 45° when the wall piece is screwed down.

Will the mount damage my LEGO?

No. The mounts are 3D-printed in ABS, the same type of plastic LEGO uses, and the parts that grip the studs are made from a softer plastic so they don't damage your bricks. No glue and no changes to your set are needed.

Shipping

How much is shipping?

Shipping is a flat $5.99 within the United States, and free on orders over $66. Every order ships with tracking.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Most orders arrive within 4–7 business days. Each mount is printed to order, so it usually ships within 1–2 business days, then USPS Ground Advantage delivers in 3–5 business days. Larger orders ship by UPS in a similar time. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not from this website. brick.engineer ships to US addresses only.

Where is my order?

Use the tracking number in your shipping confirmation email to see where your package is. If tracking stops updating or something looks wrong, contact us with your order number and we'll look into it.

Returns and problems

What is your return policy?

Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. The item needs to be in its original condition, unused, with its original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item arrived defective or damaged. We refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving the return. To start a return, contact us with your order number. See the full refund policy.

What if a part is missing or arrived broken?

Contact us with your order number and a photo of what arrived, and we'll make it right. In most cases that means sending a replacement part at no charge.

Custom orders and other questions

Can you make a mount for a set you don't sell yet?

Yes, we take requests. Send us the set name and number; we'll add it to our list and let you know when the mount is available.

Do you do custom work, like other colors, sizes or non-LEGO models?

Sometimes. Custom colors, shorter or longer arms and special displays are handled case by case. Tell us what you need with photos and sizes, and we'll let you know what we can do.

Do you sell wholesale to stores?

Yes. We offer discounted wholesale pricing to stores. Contact us with the products and quantities you're interested in.

Can I buy the 3D print files (STL)?

No. Our designs are made with an engineering and design firm, so we don't sell the print files. Every mount is printed and checked in our shop.

Is Brick Engineering affiliated with LEGO?

No. Brick Engineering is an independent maker of display mounts for LEGO sets. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site or these products.
